How to Accept a Transport Quote

You can accept an AKAT quote by replying “I accept this quote” to the quote email, or you can call us to accept the quote. If we need more information than what you have provided so far, we’ll collect it by phone or email.

Ask Us to Beat a Competitor’s Transport Quote

If you got a lower quote from another company, please email it to us and we will try to beat it. If you choose to compare prices, please be wary of prices much lower than ours — it could be a scam or uninsured driver.  Most likely, a cheap transport offer is from an illegal uninsured solo driver. Anyone can claim to have commercial insurance. Ask for documentation. At AKAT Inc. we provide you with carrier’s insurance documentation upon request.

Also, beware of requests for a hefty down payment — it may be a SCAM where the “transporter” disappears after you pay the deposit. AKAT only requires a modest down payment to confirm transport.

Final Steps to Arrange Transport

Once we have the required initial details and you have accepted our transport quote, you will receive a confirmation email with a unique link. The link will take you to a secure private page on our website to complete a short form which authorizes us to move your RV or trailer, and also collects some final details for the transport. See FAQs: Release Form for details. At this time we will also collect a deposit by phone. We will collect the remaining balance on the day your scheduled transport begins. At the conclusion of the transport, you or your agent, if so arranged, will sign a form to confirm safe receipt of your RV or trailer. Please see Bill of Lading for more details.
