How to Book RV, Boat, or Trailer Transport
AKAT makes it easy and affordable to book transport and safely move your RV, boat, or other types of trailer-mounted cargo from one city to another, nationwide (lower 48).
Start by requesting a free quote by phone (call 352-472-3343), or via the free quote form on our website, or text (SMS) us at 352-474-7003.
The quote will be emailed to you in one to two business days. Friendly trained dispatchers are available 9-5 EST Mon-Fri to answer questions and may call or email you to collect any details that haven’t been provided yet.
What We Need to Provide a Transport Quote
- The type of transport you desire:
- RV- 5th wheel or travel trailer
- Boat on a trailer
- Other cargo on a trailer
- Horse Trailer
- Approximate length of the loaded trailer, up to 45 ft.
- Pickup and destination cities and state(s). Zip code is not necessary for a quote, but if you have the zip codes we can quote the most accurate mileage.
- Your name and email address (phone optional)
Once you accept our quote, we will collect final details, your payment information, and schedule your transport by phone.
How to Accept a Transport Quote
We offer three ways to accept a transport quote: Online, with a phone call, or via email.
1) When you receive your quote by email, click on the unique link provided. The link will take you to a secure page on our website to accept the transport quote. If link is not clickable, copy and paste link into your web browser.
2) Call 352-472-3343 Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm EST
3) Reply to your quote email and copy / paste or write: ‘I accept the AKAT transport quote and conditions as stated here.”
Also, provide us with phone number(s) if you have not done so already. Please note that Accepting a quote from AKAT does not commit you to use our service. Driver assignment and final scheduling happens only after you confirm transport with us by phone, and you can still cancel transport without penalty at least 48 hours prior to your agreed pickup date.
When you accept an AKAT price quote, you are also agreeing to our complete terms & conditions [https://akattransport.com/wp/terms-and-conditions] including our cancellation policy, and authorize us to hitch and move your RV or loaded trailer. Please note that accepting a quote from AKAT does not commit you to use our service. Driver assignment and final scheduling happens only after you confirm transport with us by phone, and you can still cancel a dispatched transport without penalty up to 48 hours prior to the agreed pickup date.
Ask Us to Beat a Competitor’s Transport Quote
If you received a lower quote from another legal transporter, please email it to us and we will try to beat it. If you choose to compare prices, please be wary of prices much lower than ours — it could be a scam or uninsured driver. Most likely, a cheap transport offer is from an illegal uninsured solo driver. Anyone can claim to have commercial insurance. Ask for documentation. At AKAT Brokerage, Inc.. we provide you with carrier’s insurance documentation upon request.
Also, beware of requests for a hefty down payment — it may be a SCAM where the “transporter” disappears after you pay the deposit. AKAT does not requires a deposit.
Final Transport Details
We always confirm our agreement and arrange final transport details with you by phone. On this confirmation call, we:
— Collect your debit or credit card information. No deposit is required. Your card is charged on the day transport begins.
— Get final pickup and delivery addresses, and phone numbers and contact person name(s) for each, plus any special instructions you may have.
— Collect details about your RV or loaded trailer, including VIN or other ID number, trailer hitch type; GVWR, and dimensions, as applicable.
Please note that It is your responsibility to make sure that weights or (weight ranges) and trailer/cargo dimensions you provide to us are correct.

— Confirm with you that your RV or loaded trailer is roadworthy and towable “as is.” Please see definitions at [https://akattransport.com/wp/terms-and-conditions#4.
— Confirm with you a pickup date and expected delivery date, and provide you with the name and cell phone number of your assigned driver, who will call you to double-check the pickup date and provide an estimated time of arrival at the pickup address.
If you accept our transport quote by telephone, we will collect as much information as we can at that time, and get the rest during the confirmation call when we provide you with the assigned driver’s contact information.
Following the Confirmation Phone Call, you will receive a final details email for your records.
At the conclusion of the transport, you or your agent, if so arranged, will sign a form to confirm safe receipt of your RV or trailer. Please see Bill of Lading for more details.
