After you complete the above steps, you will get a call from an AKAT dispatcher to finalize your transport details, including payment method. No deposit is required. Within 1-3 days (typically) a driver will be assigned, and will call you to arrange a pickup day. Your debit or credit card will be charged for the transport on the pickup day you confirm.

- AKAT Transport Cancellation Policy – Please plan carefully – If you must cancel a Dispatched Transport (driver assigned and transport scheduled), do so at least 48 hours prior to the confirmed pickup date, or you will incur a $300 Truck Not Used Fee.
- Restrictions on Quoted Transport Price – Quoted price can go up if unexpected costs are incurred during your transport. Example: Trailer tire blowout (and you did not provide a spare. See item 6 below).
- All Payments Through AKAT – AKAT collects all payments (credit or debit card only) by phone. Drivers may not request funds directly from customers for any purpose.
- Transport Cannot Take Place – If any condition(s) at pick-up prevent the driver from safely hitching or moving load; or if load specs differ from quote specs (examples: trailer dimensions or weight range do not match quote specs) and transport can’t take place, Truck Not Used Fee applies.
- Tires Disclaimer – AKAT is not responsible for damages caused to your RV, trailer, boat or cargo due to tire blowouts or other tire failures on your RV or trailer.
- Please Provide an Inflated Spare Tire – In the event of a flat tire on your trailer, driver will replace the flat at no cost to you. However, if you do not provide an inflated spare, and have a flat, you will be charged for roadside service.
- Drivers do not provide breakdown or setup of RV utilities, and only provide basic RV leveling, when applicable, on delivery.
- Boat Pick-up and Drop-off Restrictions – Due to insurance regulations, our drivers cannot pull boats from the water, or put boats into the water for you.
